Council President Charles Pugh is Committed to Government Transparency
Detroit, MI - As part of Council President Charles Pugh’s commitment to open and transparent government, he is voluntarily disclosing the following information:
Sonya Pugh will serve in the president’s office as constituent relations specialist, earning an annual salary of $32,000.
From 1977-1978, Sonya Pugh was married to the father of President Pugh.
“My decision to have Ms. Pugh serve in my office was based on her years of experience in customer service and her compassion for the people of Detroit,” said President Pugh. “I look forward to working with her as we address the concerns of Detroiters and work toward strengthening the partnership between city council and our citizens.”
