Tribute to Officer Huff

Statement from City Council President Charles Pugh:
There are no words appropriate for a time like this. Yet, I express my deepest sadness to the wife and child of the noble Officer Huff. Crime is killing our community, and we can not tolerate this anymore! Today, a 10 year old son lost his father and a wife lost a loving husband. The fabric of a family has been damaged by a fruitless act of violence. Where is the outrage? We can and we must do more to end the defenseless culture of crime in our community. This lost should be a call to arms to every good and decent person to stand together to defeat evil, as this is the only way I can categorize this unfortunate incident.
